Nice place for a date night. Hubby and I went on a Saturday at 6. We had a reservation but wouldn't have had to wait. We spent $80 and got one app (tuna) one main course (steak+potato), two sodas, and two glasses of wine. The food was delicious and very fresh. The wait staff were kind and attentive. I can't eat dairy so I took off a star because there was some difficulty getting menu items special ordered. The waitress was sweet but had to go check to make sure food items didn't have dairy in it, and accidentally brought me broccoli with butter on it. That being said, she was polite and took it off the bill for us. My hubby also left his phone on the table and they held it for us to come back and pick up an hour later when we noticed it missing. If it's raining you will need an umbrella. The parking is a short walk around the building but it's through beautiful landscaped grounds.

Don’t believe the bad reviews. This is definitely one of my personal favorite steakhouse. The atmosphere is so romantic. They have over cooked my steak once but they made sure it was done and the manager personally comes to apologize. You can tell this place care for customers. Definitely worth coming

Food is great, as you'd expect. Service is also great. You're obviously paying for it, but at least you do get great food and service.

As always, for the past 20+ years Stoney River has been an exceptional experience for fine steak house dining. The steaks are great, the chicken fingers are great, the mushrooms are amazing... the poppy seed rolls with honey butter are like crack! If you want a dinner that raises the bar, go. Or go back.. Disclaimer: all experiences can be determined or changed by one bad waiter/waitress..

Always a great meal! Stoney River was acquired by J Alexander's and so the menu is very similar. In fact, the decor is also very similar. We love both restaurants and have never had a bad meal at either. A little pricey, but you get quality food.
